Peterbilt Motors is Hiring a Diesel Instructor Near Denver, CO

Lincoln Tech in Denver, CO is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to share their knowledge and experience in our Peterbilt Partnership Custom Training Program—no teaching experience required. Lincoln Tech has successfully transitioned technicians into effective educators.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5 years' experience in servicing and maintaining class 8 vehicles.
  • ASE's current or expired:
  • Required: T4 / T5 / T5 / T8
  • Preferred: T1 - T8
  • OEM or Equivalent industry related training

Responsibilities

  • Organize and deliver class objectives clearly and concisely using approved course materials and teaching methods.
  • Communicate, support, and enforce school policies and procedures; advise students accordingly.
  • Provide students with academic support, tutoring, and skills enhancement as necessary.
  • Develop learning aids, projects, and formative or summative assessments relevant to the subject matter taught.
  • Contribute to the curriculum review process as necessary and required.
  • Where applicable, visit externship/internship/clinical/technical partner sites and complete the required documentation as assigned.
  • Aid in class equipment and inventory controls.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Requirements

  • Able to perform safe PMI & Oil samples on equipment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Comfortable with using technology.
